Just like that, the leaves are turning brown, it’s October, and Halloween is fast approaching. This holiday is the time to dress up however you want and have fun with costumes, and you can do so sustainably. If you haven’t prepared a costume yet, don’t fret! This article will help put together a quick outfit with clothes that you can find in your wardrobe.
Instagram.com Individual Costumes Since its October, meaning Halloween is approaching fast, I will include individual costumes that are the easiest to put together with clothes that you will be able to find in your wardrobe. It is a classic, but an angel and devil costume can mean you can find your own look and use clothes you have, especially when Halloween is this weekend! The easiest options include a fairy, witch, devil, and angel. Whether you wanted to wear a red dress, red skirt and top combination, or even black jeans and a red top would work for a devil. And then of course, adding on devil horns which will be cheap and easy to find. For a fairy, there is an option of any monochrome outfit and wings, a witch, an all-black outfit with a witch hat and there is an option for a duo costume with a black or white angel. Again, this is similar to the devil in which you can wear whatever makes you most comfortable with wings and a halo. If you have worn these before, a more unique last-minute costume includes Disney Princess; any colour dress that matches a princess would work with a tiara. These outfits are definitely quick choices that you can personalise to make you feel most comfortable for the night suing clothes you already have, or can find at one of our clothing swaps!
Pinterest There are also more modern costumes that can be put together for the weekend. Movie icons are especially fun to dress as with options such as Legally Blonde, Barbie, Mamma Mia and Clueless. If you happen to have some yellow gingham in your wardrobe, this is of course a classic costume. But there are so many great outfits that can easily be created as well, such as the iconic Calvin Klein dress in which you would only need a white slip dress.

Keeping with current topics, a Britney Spears outfit can be really fun and also easy to find in your wardrobe. An easy way to find costumes are watching music videos of your favourite artists and then replicating them. They also serve as a great serving point at a party! Tip: cut a grey jumper in half to make a cardigan! Popsuagr.celebrity
Group Costumes Any of these costumes discussed above can be made into duos, trios or larger groups. For example, an angel and devil, the Mamma Mia trio, and a group of Disney Princesses. Along with the artists, groups such as the Spice Girls can mean each member of the group can express their personality. Another easy costume for groups this Halloween is Scooby Doo. These outfits can be interpreted to your own style but could include: Daphne-purple dress and green scarf Velma-orange and red skirt and top combo Freddy-white shirt, blue jeans, orange ascot Scooby-all brown with face paint and ears Shaggy-brown flares and green top
Pinterest This can also be done with The Wizard of Oz, these again can be interpreted with what is in everyone’s wardrobe. Dorothy-blue and white gingham, red shoes Tinman-white/silver top with jeans Lion-jeans and a orange top with blown out hair Scarecrow-brown skirt and blue top Thank you Hopefully, this article has given you some ideas if you haven’t got an outfit for Halloween yet, or if you have multiple parties that need a costume! Happy Halloween!!
